Come December and it’s time for stars to shines, bells to jingle, people to care, friends to visits, sweets to share and carols to sing. Festivity filled the air. 19th of December marked the Christmas celebrations of the school. The day began with the Christmas tree decorations by the house members. The worship centre with the six Christmas tree decorations alongside the stage set with a life size Santa riding a sleigh drawn by Rudolph and his friends, looked more like a scene from a fairy tale or fable. Teachers had a small but significant ‘get together’ during the day; with the exchange of food and gifts. Carols were sung and thanks giving prayers were said. The evening was marked with the official celebrations of the school. The celebrations began with a procession leading the Chief Guest for the day Our Spiritual father the Metropolitan of Believers Church, His Eminence the Most Reverend Dr. K P Yohannan being ushered to the dais by the School choir and little fairies. Our Metropolitan gave the special Christmas message. The Director of the Believers Church Medical College and Hospital (BCMCH), Dr. George Chandy felicitated at the function Nativity and the carols rendered by the senior and junior choir were the highlights of the evening. Toddlers and tiny tots performed an exquisite number on ‘Rudolph the Red nosed reindeer’. Curtain fell on the celebrations after the Candle-light service led by the School Manager Rev. Father Sijo Pandappallil and benediction led by the Director of Medical Missions, BCI (DR) Rev. Fr Daniel Johnson.
